Trip to Flordia

Myself, and Bellator fighters Eric Marriott and Brian Davidson decided to take a trip to Flordia to do some training. For a total of 6 days we trained nonstop at gyms like American Top Team and a couple of Gracie Barra schools.
The first day training in FL we hit up ATT in Coconut Creek. We felt extremely lucky to get invited to the pro class where we were training along side veterans of the sport like Thiago Alves, Mike Brown, Thiago Silva, JZ Calavante, Mark Bocek, Luigi Fioravanti, Chris Manuel, and some other insane talented guys that you will see in big shows in the future im sure. Training went great, seems like everyone there is legit.
Then we moved on to Gracie Barra in Orlando where we rolled with some top notch bjj guys in the world. We seemed to be running through blue and green belts all day and getting the better of purple belts with a gi on which was only our 3rd time ever wearing one so i was pretty happy with myself, Marriott, and Davidson. I rolled nogi with a black belt and went no taps either way with him so that made me even more happy. Now i just wanted to add punches and see what happened but i doubt he would have been down for that.
I felt lucky because we didnt have to pay for any hotels the entire trip and were always housed in a house that cost around a million dollars at all times, literally. Not to mention always having a pool and hot tub at our disposal was awesome. The hot tub helped ease the pain, lol and the food was excellent here so i cant complain.
All in all it was a GREAT trip hanging with my boys and learning some new tricks of the trade. We trained with some world class guys, and got better as fighters. I cant wait for more of these trips to come! -JK
